Welcome to The Festive Flutes Website

The Festive Flutes feature programs of light classical music, show tunes, and "old favorites". The flute ensemble, with piccolo, C flutes and alto flute, has performed recitals at churches, libraries, "The Festival of Trees", fund raisers, Christmas music in the malls, music in the parks, receptions, weddings, cable TV, and at senior homes throughout New Jersey. The flutists also participated in the first annual Flute Choir Day at Drew University in Madison, NJ.

The 2008 library performances will feature our "Monthly Melodies" program.
A flute concert featuring seasonal music for each month of the calendar year.
Beginning in February these concerts will be performed at various libraries in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Check our schedule to find one near you.

The Festive Flutes schedule auditions for new members during the month of July each year.
Adults and advanced high school students with good sightreading ability are welcome to audition. Six rehearsals are scheduled during August, two rehearsals in November for holiday music, and four rehearsals in January for the library series.
